MUARA NAVAL BASE, Thursday, 04 May 2023 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Sunat Hajat prayer prior to the Asar prayer at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base, in conjunction with the upcoming deployment to participate in ASEAN MULTILATERAL NAVAL EXERCISE 2/2023 and ASEAN FLEET REVIEW 2023 in the Philippines. The RBN ships participating in the exercises and fleet review are KDB DARUTTAQWA and KDB AFIAT, which are scheduled to depart Muara Naval Base on 08th May 2023 and return on 19th May 2023.
In attendance were Commander Haji Nor Ariwwin bin Haji Mohd Ali, Acting Fleet Commander RBN, commanding officers, officers and personnel of KDB DARUTTAQWA and KDB AFIAT, along with other RBN officers and personnel.
The Sunat Hajat prayer was performed to ask for blessings for the RBN ships deployment to the Philippines and the safe conduct of the exercise.
